| 1 | Peel the outer skins of pearl onions without cutting their root ends. |
| 2 | Heat a large pot over medium heat, add butter and olive oil. Add diced meat and onions, sauté until the meat releases and reabsorbs its juices (about 15-20 minutes). |
| 3 | Remove the pearl onions and set aside. Add 1 cup of hot water to the meat, cover and simmer over low heat for 30-40 minutes. |
| 4 | Once the meat is nearly cooked, add chopped carrots, zucchinis, potatoes, green beans, pearl onions, and salt. Add another cup of hot water. |
| 5 | Cover and cook for another 25-30 minutes until everything is tender. |
